3 Different Kinds of Car Enthusiasts

Like with any activity, hobby, or interest, there are different categories of car enthusiasts. Some love cars but don’t do much with it besides attend the occasional car show or pick up a car magazine every once in a while; others make sure to get a car and show it off for everyone to see; and still for others cars is what they live and breathe. Below are three different types of car enthusiasts. If you love cars yourself, see what category you might fit into!

One type of car enthusiast is the one that cares all about the looks. This “Appearance Car Guy” does anything and everything in his power to have his car look great. He will spend all the money, time, and effort it takes just to have his car properly washed, waxed, and detailed at all times! Usually, this person would rather spend money on something flashy or something that will be visible to everyone rather than fixing an internal issue.

A second type of car enthusiast is the “mechanic guy.” Unlike the first category of car enthusiasts, this person cares more for what is found on the inside than on the outside for everyone to see. He loves tinkering with the different gadgets and mechanisms and most often than not can be found underneath his vehicle or with oil stains on his clothes. This car enthusiast will do everything in his power to fix his car before daring to bring it in to an actual mechanic shop.

A third type of car lover is the one who is all about competition. He will be the one getting the latest fashion trend like green seat belt webbing from the company Safety Restore in his vehicle. This is because he wants the green seat belt webbing to make his car stand apart from others and be the talk of the town. He will do everything to make sure that everyone notices that green seat belt webbing—whether on the road, in his driveway, or in a parking lot. This type of person will constantly compare his awesome car to yours and will tell you of the different ways his is better.
